Goose (grey) and Omelet (orange) were born outside in the Spring of 2023. Their mother and father are community cats we call Moira and Johnny Rose. We became aware of them when they were around 12 weeks old in the Summer. We fed them and finally trapped Omelet on October 11th, and Goose on October 12th!

As of November 1, 2023, Omelet and Goose are waiting for donations to get vet care for flea and worm treatment, spay/neuter surgeries, and vaccinations. After they are vetted, we will work to trap their father, Johnny, and reunite them. Then they will all be socialized in foster-care over the winter in hopes of finding forever homes!

MOIRA ROSE

Moira Oct 2023.png

Moira and her partner were living outside and being fed by The Humane Bean when they had kittens in the Spring of 2023. It took until Fall to trap Moira, who had become pregnant again, so we prepared for incoming kittens. 5 days after being trapped, on October 6th, Moira went into preterm labor and delivered 4 premature kittens. They were 20 grams underweight and we had them on a tube feeding schedule, but they were just too small to thrive, and tragically they passed away within a few hours of each other two days later.

We gave Moira time to heal, then trapped both her older kittens (Omelet and Goose), and reunited them. Moira is currently scheduled to be spayed on October 31st, then after she heals, we will be attempting to trap her partner, who we call Johnny Rose, and reunite them all. After everyone is reunited and vetted, we will socialize them to eventually be adopted!
